Company Overview

SRC Energy commenced operations in 2008 and is based in Denver, Colorado.  In March of 2017 the Company began the process of changing its name from Synergy Resources Corporation to SRC Energy Inc.  Prior to final approval by the Company's shareholders at the June 2017 annual shareholder meeting, the Company will begin using the "SRC Energy" name on a "doing business as" (dba) basis.  The Company engages in the acquisition, exploitation, exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas assets primarily located in the Greater Wattenberg Field in the Denver-Julesburg Basin in northeast Colorado. As of December, 2016 our estimated net proved oil and gas reserves as prepared by Ryder Scott Company equated to 93 MM BOE (barrels of oil equivalent).

  • Production Growth

    • Net oil and gas production increased 23% to 1,221 MBOE in Q4 2016 vs 995 MBOE in Q4 2015.

    • Averaged 13,269 BOE per day in Q4 2016 vs 10,815 BOE per day in Q4 2015

  • Concentration in Greater Wattenberg Area 

    •  In addition to more than 100 gross horizontal wells in production in the Wattenberg Field at year-end 2016, the company has 73 gross horizontal wells in various stages of the drilling an completion process as of March 2017.  The company plans to drill 102 gross mid and long lateral wells throughout the year in 2017 and intends to complete 95 gross mid and long lateral wells.  Approximately 55% of the wells planned to be completed in 2017 will have mid-length laterals while the remaining wells will have long or extended reach lateral lengths. 

    •  The Company has identified over 1,000 gross drilling locations with mid to long laterals (~7,500' to ~9,500') across its consolidated Greeley Crescent ("GC") acreage position.
